Description

The Digital Learning working group facilitates the acceleration of digital learning for students and professionals on intersectional topics explored by Global Building Network partners. To date more than 40% of learners reached are from underrepresented groups in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

Led by Lehigh University, the Global Building Network embedded green energy topics into a UNDP Learning for Nature Green Entrepreneurship Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), reaching over 1,800+ learners.

Social Impact-Driven Engineering

The Global Building Network participated through the PhilDev Visiting Professors Program to teach an online seminar on Social Impact-Driven Engineering in the Philippines, reaching 80 learners.

Passive House Primer: Core Topics

In partnership with the Penn State Architectural Engineering department and the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center, the Global Building Network created a 15-hour online micro-credential introducing students to Passive House concepts, reaching 160+ students.
